Nintendo Switch - Big XXL Kids Games Bundle!

Today the NEW McPeppergames BIG XXL KIDS GAMES BUNDLE for the Nintendo Switch game console is released. It includes all eleven McPeppergames games previously produced for the Nintendo Switch and offers the unique opportunity to purchase the games at a significantly lower price than if you would buy them individually. With the purchase of the game collection you are doing your children a favor and at the same time you are supporting me and McPeppergames in the production of new games. This is of particular interest to fans of my strategy game COLOR DEFENSE, as I am currently in the preparatory phase to continue with a second part after a small update of COLOR DEFENSE. This will be much larger and, in addition to mobile devices such as the iPhone/iPad and Android phones and tablets, is also planned to release it for the PC and the Nintendo Switch!

SPAWN #1 30th Anniversary - Sketch Cover

It's amazing that it's been 30 years since Todd McFarlane published his creator-owned comic SPAWN. Todd's unique style influenced me a lot at the time. For this reason there is my own SPAWN version for the 30th anniversary of SPAWN and Image Comics... ;) Congrats Todd! If you want to know how my cover drawing came about, you can watch the MAKING OF video in timelapse. CLICK HERE! #spawnsketchcover
If you want to ink (or color) this piece, CLICK HERE FOR A HUGE PSD FILE! When publishing your inked (or colored) version, please make sure you add a link to my Blog / Instagram or YouTube page.

New Nintendo Switch Kids Game(s)

Just in time for the summer and holiday season there will be some new Nintendo Switch games from McPeppergames. The new Ocean Animals Puzzle is available for pre-order now and will be available to download from the e-shop from June 2nd. If you want to choose from all previous McPeppergames Nintendo Switch titles, then check out the children's games at the following link: As far as my comic projects go, these days I'm more busy writing projects when my gaming job allows it. But so that drawing doesn't come off badly, I've also set aside time to practice my figure drawing, which unfortunately has been somewhat neglected in recent years. More on that shortly. :)

Another day in the office...

The current temperatures of 30 degrees invite you to move your work outside. Said and done! Just poured a glass of wine and let's go... today's program: The further development of the story of my comic projects. Two projects that are currently in development and will be printed in 2023 and another project that I am currently developing the rough plot for. A great change from the game developer everyday life!

Nintendo Switch KIDS Bundle available!

If you have small children and own a Nintendo Switch game console, then you can now buy the large McPeppergames learning game bundle for small children in the Nintendo E-shop. It includes five great standalone Nintendo Switch games that are much more expensive to buy individually. Note: The games all use the touch screen function of the Nintendo Switch console and are therefore perfect for on the go or on vacation. All games (and many of the graphics) were developed by myself and are therefore indie games. So if you want to support an indie developer, don't wait and get the game pack... ;)

I don't like the new Batman movie...

... and I usually don't talk about it publicly if I don't like an entertainment "product". But I've noticed that in recent years, many writers in the entertainment sector don't put much effort into developing stories for a wide audience. I think that's a shame, because as an author you should always have an interest in inspiring as many people as possible without "insulting" them by denying their intelligence. And now to the new Batman film: It does exactly the latter and also robs Batman of all the qualities that have characterized the character over the years. It's impossible for me to list all the things that could be improved about this film...I don't want to either. But I'll give a few examples of what I don't think should be done in a Batman movie:

  • Completely rob Batman of his humanity that he doesn't seem to care about a woman's corpse.
  • At the same time giving him disturbing human stalker traits when it comes to Catwoman.
  • Don't let him, as the "world's greatest detective", solve any riddles without outside help.
  • Portray his butler Alfred as more intelligent than Bruce Wayne.
  • Move on a story not by intelligent decisions of characters but instead by coincidence (or decisions of the villains)
  • Make a film visually beautiful, but then not put the same effort into STORY.
  • Make all characters act superficial and stupid.

Surely there are many out there who think the film is good... there's no other way to explain the film's good rating. But I think with every entertainment project STORY should come first which is not the case with this film. Especially if the film was preceded by great Batman films just a few years earlier, such as Batman Begins or The Dark Knight who did work on so many levels. Just my two cents.
